Diode Laser Systems, Direct Beam Delivery

The DILAS DLx devices are systems that consists of a diode laser head, driver/controller and chiller. Each system is provided with an interface for input and output of digital and analog signals. Power and coolant is provided to the laser head through only a pair of very flexible cables and tubing. Different optics are available to focus the laser beam after the exit window.
Driver and chiller of the DLx-unit are integrated into standard 19 inch racks.
Because of its compact and robust design the diode laser head can be easily integrated in nearly any manufacturing machinery or combined with a robotic system.
For applications that require a strongly unsymmetrical focus geometry (e.g. line focus) the DLx HP is the most cost effective solution, while the outstanding focus ability of the DLx HQ allows to successfully treat parts even in the sub-millimeter range. Additionally, interchangeable optics allow you to adjust the focus geometry according to the specific application.
The long work distance prevents contamination of the protective glass during operation and provides enough space for additional instrumentation (e.g. nozzles, wire feeder, etc.).
The modular design of this new generation of laser sources with direct beam delivery, allows adaptation of a CCD-camera for visualization of the laser process and adjustment of the beam and/or adaptation of a pyrometer unit if temperature controlled processing is required.
