MF - Single Mounts, Fiber Connector
High brightness and a robust and compact design are the most outstanding features of the MF-type. Its sealed housing which is provided with a standard SMA 905 fiber connector protects the diode laser bar and its micro optics against contamination and mechanical damage.
A modified version of that type has an additional red pilot laser (650 nm) plus an exit window for output power detection.
Some examples are end pumping of solid state lasers, OEM units for portable medical lasers and material processing.
