History
Dilas was founded in October 1994 with eight employees and based its future on developing a new generation of high power diode lasers. In 1997 ROFIN-SINAR Technologies Inc. took a 95%- stake in Dilas. Since than Dilas has been able to grow its business and at the same time did several expansions of the facilities
- 2000: clean-room expansion to a total area of 500m²
- 2002: a second floor was added to the building
- 2004: a second building adjacent to the first one was taken over
Nowadays Dilas Diodenlaser GmbH has approximately 3300m² of office and production space at its facilities in Mainz / Germany and employs 165 people. Dilas’ Products are available via a worldwide network of representatives.
